Congratulations to Will Eiben ’20, a government major at UVA, who competed in intramural tennis this fall. Mr. Eiben was named UVA’s Men’s Competitive Tennis Singles Champ.
Mr. Eiben, who has been a tennis player for 12 years, played for Steward’s varsity team, winning two state championships with his fellow Spartans.
“While I love the team sports I play like ice hockey, the one-on-one nature of tennis makes the sport especially competitive,” he said. “At the end of a match, you really do know who is the better player. I also enjoy that it is outdoors.”
Mr. Eiben, who keeps in touch with his fellow alumni during college breaks, said, “My brother [Luke Eiben ’25] is at Steward, so I enjoy watching Steward athletic events when I’m back in Richmond. I most recently watched the baseball team win in May!”
