• What is the date, time, and location of the 2026 Gala?

  Friday, March 27, 2026, at The Jefferson Hotel (101 West Franklin Street, Richmond, VA 23220) from 7-11 p.m.

• Is there a block of rooms at The Jefferson Hotel?

  Yes! Call The Jefferson Hotel reservation line at 804-649-4690 or 888-918-1895. To secure the special group rate, please mention The Steward School. Reservations must be received by Friday, February 27, 2026.

• What should I wear to the 2026 Gala?

  Masquerade dress is optional but encouraged. The suggested dress is black tie optional. 

• What is the cost of the 2026 Gala?

  The Gala and Auction tickets are $175 per person, with early-bird pricing at $150 per person until January 31, 2026.

• What is the Raise the Shield portion of the evening?

  Raise the Shield is Steward’s version of Raise the Paddle, which is often used at auctions. During this part of the evening, we will be asking for donations that will go directly to the school; one hundred percent of these donations are tax-deductible.

• I can’t make it to the Gala. Are there other ways I can be involved?

  Yes! We have various Gala sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorship levels range from $600-$3,500 for both businesses and individual families interested in the success of the Parents Association's largest fundraiser for Steward. Families, corporations, friends, and local businesses are invited to support the Gala through sponsorships of any level.

• I would love to volunteer to help with the Gala. How can I help?

  Great! We need volunteers. If you have time now, the auction committee is looking for help getting items for the auction. If you own a business (or know someone who does), we would love to have items and/or services to auction off at the event! In the past, we have received items and experiences of all sizes, including a week at a vacation home, tickets to sporting events and concerts, gift certificates to local businesses, great bottles of wine, and more!
