Standout Spartan: Bryce Courville '28
Racing toward success
During spring 2024, Bryce Courville '28 competed in a four-race series of mountain bike racing. Bryce and four teammates on the Varina High School Mountain Bike Team placed among the top 25 riders in the state. This drove them to an overall team third place in the state.
“We practice three days at Pocahontas State Park, Forest Hill, and Dogwood Dell,” said Bryce. “I enjoy having a community outside of school I can get to know in a different context.”
Bryce, a member of Steward’s Entrepreneurship Club, said the best thing about being a Spartan is “being provided with the necessary tools to learn how to become a creative and original person.” Congratulations, Bryce!
