Standout Spartan: Preston Day '25

Preston Day ’25 is an entrepreneur and content creator … in fact, he developed his own business! 

“My family started building a new home in 2023, and we enjoyed looking at houses for ideas for our home,” he recalled. “One day my mom asked my sister and me to each make a video of a house we liked and told us the best video would get a prize. My mother realized I had a talent that not everyone has and she inspired me to start a business.”

Preston’s business, The Perfect Plat, showcases real estate properties online through professional videos. “I love being an entrepreneur and content creator in real estate marketing,” said Preston, a member of Steward’s Entrepreneurship Studies program. “My passion for crafting engaging videos for realtors allows me to merge creativity and uniqueness, turning properties into captivating visual stories.”

At Steward, Preston is a member of the varsity basketball team, Investing Club, Black Student Alliance, and Men Pursue Passion Club. 

“The best thing about being a Spartan is the community,” said Preston. “Students and teachers are always there to lend a helping hand. In my first year at Steward, I didn't think I would fit in, but Steward's vibrant and supportive community has made me feel like family. My connection with teachers and friends will be lifelong memories and friendships.”
