Donors Urgently Needed for the February 14 Blood Drive
The Steward School
Roll up a sleeve!
The Stewardship Club will host a Valentine’s Day blood drive on Wednesday, February 14 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in Steeber Commons (in the Upper School). Blood donors of all blood types are urgently needed.
The American Red Cross is experiencing an emergency blood shortage as the nation faces the lowest number of people giving blood in 20 years. Your blood donation will help alleviate the shortage and ensure lifesaving medical procedures are not delayed.
Upper School Math Teacher Barbara Filler, who sponsors the Stewardship Club, said, “Our club emphasizes the importance of community outreach. Donating blood is an easy way to make a difference in someone else’s life.”
