Our parent organizations — ArtLink, Parents Association, Spartan Club, and Spirit Committee — are always eager for new and returning faces to join in the volunteer effort. To let them know you're interested in helping, please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form, and don't forget to visit the Sparticipation Fair in the fall to find out how you can engage in our community.
ArtLink was created to encourage the Steward and greater Richmond communities to embrace the visual and performing arts at The Steward School. Steward parents are automatic members of ArtLink. From the youngest students on stage for the first time to the fabulous Jazz Band and the imaginative expressions from the art classrooms, creativity is everywhere on Steward's campus. There are numerous opportunities throughout the year to volunteer with ArtLink.
The Steward School Parents Association sponsors events and programs throughout the school year with the goal of enhancing the Steward experience for all families. As a vital part of the Steward community, all current parents are members of the Parents Association, and are welcome at events, meetings, and parent education opportunities. The school year kicks off with two major events, the Sparticipation Fair, and the Fall Social — and big events with volunteer needs include SpartaFest and Gala. There are many opportunities to participate in these events (and more) that make Steward so special.

The Spartan Club believes in Steward’s commitment to student athletics and the lifelong interpersonal and individual values that student-athletes develop. In addition to other events, the Spartan Club operates concessions during all three sports seasons. This important outreach serves both our community and visitors to our campus. All volunteers receive support and training from the Spartan Club. The more volunteers we have, the more frequently we can open. Besides having a great deal of fun, volunteering is also a great opportunity to meet new families and get to know our student-athletes.
The Spirit Committee enhances Spartan spirit and blue-and-gold pride across all three divisions by collaborating with athletics, the arts, and the Parents Association. Spirit volunteers help with fence art, pep rallies, spirit weeks, and more.
There are other ways to get involved as a volunteer, such as hosting events at home, joining the annual giving committee, or volunteering for the Steward50 campaign, all of which can be indicated on the Volunteer Interest Form.
