  STEWARD SPRING SPIRIT WEEK
  APRIL 14-17
  ACTUALLY CURIOUS

  MONDAY: ANIMAL PRINT or POLKA DOTS? We’re curious when it comes to patterns: do you prefer something more geometric, like a bunch of dots, or does something more organic hit the spot? 
  
  TUESDAY: CRAZY HATS or CRAZY SOCKS? For a curious day two, we are wondering whether a fedora or pizza socks are just right for you? 
  
  WEDNESDAY: DENIM or PLAID? The curious question on day three is whether something patterned tartan  or something blue and cotton works better on a Spartan?
  
  THURSDAY: BLUE or GOLD? There’s no question about day four because if you’re wearing something that shows school spirit, we’ll all feel it
  
  Participation is voluntary, and the Dress Code rules are still in effect.  Note: No need to buy anything. Be creative with what you have!

  
  During the school year, Steward holds three spirit weeks, which are loaded with opportunities to dress in specific themes; participate in creative, lighthearted competitions; and show your blue-and-gold pride! Points are awarded to the Blue and Gold teams for contests and over-the-top spirit, and pep rallies are held at the end of each spirit week. The students in each division take turns selecting the themes for spirit weeks. 
  

• Earning Blue / Gold Spirit Points

  Want to know how to earn points for your team color? There are several ways.
  
  

  Sparticipation Points: At many special events, a QR code will be available to scan and check-in for spirit points. Students who “go the extra mile” by helping with the event will be rewarded extra points from the Spirit Committee. 

   

  Donation Points: When Spartans make donations to Spirit Week causes, they earn points for their team. This is a great way to help the community and support your team!

   

  Pop Quiz! Spirit Shirt Edition: The Spartan Squad and teachers will visit classes randomly on Spirit Shirt days and tally the classroom’s blue-and-gold sparticipation points. 
  
  Spirit Point Form:  Parents, guardians, and faculty or staff may submit Spirit Points when they send students to school wearing their spirit shirts or they attend a Sparticipation event, including athletic games, arts events, and/or Parents Association events. 

• Spirit Slogans

  The community has voted, and “Blue and Gold, Bright and Bold” is the winning spirit slogan for the next school year! Brooke Frankenburg ’30 submitted the winning slogan. The new slogan will be printed on the 2025-26 spirit shirts, but we need YOUR help with a fun and creative design!

   

  The design contest is open to all students, parents, faculty, and staff, and the winning artist will receive spirit points for their team as well as a special surprise. Designs, which must incorporate the new slogan, are due by 9 a.m. on April 21. Please use only two colors in your design. All artwork, whether digital or hand-drawn, must be original.  The winning shirt will be revealed at All School Field Day on Friday, May 12. The shirt will be given to each student, faculty, and staff member in the fall.  Submit your designs here.
