To participate in a Summer Experience camp or class, we must have a completed registration and medical form for each camper. To register, each camper must complete his or her registration information.
Campers staying for the full day can bring bagged lunches every day or sign up for the weekly lunch supplement. They will eat under the supervision of Steward camp staff. A snack is provided for all campers each session.
To participate in a Summer Experience camp or class, please visit www.stewardschool.org/summer to register and complete all necessary forms, including medical information.
Registrations will not be processed without a deposit or full payment. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of registration. An informational letter, including drop-off and pick-up locations, supply lists (if necessary), and other pertinent information, will be sent to campers as the camp date approaches. For additional or specific information, please contact the Summer Experience staff at Camps@stewardschool.org.
All Summer Experience camps are supervised by qualified adult camp leaders. Safety and a positive experience are the most important aspects of our summer program, and we believe that this is best accomplished with knowledgeable adults who are passionate about your child’s experience. Our camps also staff a trained medical professional. Most camp instructors and coaches are trained in CPR/AED, first aid, and Epi-Pen administration. Teen counselor apprentices will be used to help with experience, play, and group movements but your camper will always be supervised by a qualified roster of adult counselors and program leaders.
We expect all campers to abide by Steward values while on our campus. Campers will act with respect for themselves, their peers, their leaders, and their surroundings. Should the summer staff have concerns about camper behavior, parents will be informed, and campers may be asked to leave. No refunds will be given for individuals who are asked to leave a camp or program because of behavior.
There are minimum class sizes for all camps and programs. The Steward School reserves the right to cancel any course, program, or activity as necessary. In such cases, a full refund will be made. Tuition is refundable after June 2 only if The Steward School cancels a course or program. In the event of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone any part of camp for the safety of the campers and cannot provide a refund for any cancellation or postponement that is weather-related.
Parents/guardians agree to provide health and accident insurance for the student and to indemnify the school and its personnel against any liability for student accidents or health problems.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for all Summer Experience programs. Installment payments may be made monthly or bi-monthly. Remaining balances must be paid in advance of the start date for the camp.
Students may be dropped off for camp 15 minutes prior to the start of camp and picked up no later than half an hour after the end of camp (usually 4 p.m.). For those who need extra coverage, Early Drop-Off (7:45 a.m.) and/or Extended Day (4-6 p.m.) are available. Please select the Early Drop-Off or Extended Day option during the registration process.
Unless noted during registration, The Steward School exercises the right to use any photographs and/or video taken of individuals participating in the Summer Experience in its promotional publications, social media accounts, and online.
Important notice to parents of campers with allergies: The Steward School camps are NOT free of peanuts, wheat, dairy, or allergens. We make every reasonable accommodation for campers with allergies. If your child is in a camp where cooking or food preparation is part of the curriculum, please discuss your child’s dietary needs with the camp director. Children who require the use of epinephrine for life-threatening emergencies will be asked to keep their devices with them at all times (a small backpack works well) or store them safely for the week with our medical staff.
